Join the party, it's spring and/or winter depending where you live. You don't want to be left out in the cold without a challenge to keep you warm.
There are many ways to get out of the cold this spring/winter , ah and the best way is to take the challenge with your colleagues in the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
Warm Up with Group 1 when you participate in Let's Move! Child Care-whether a provider or a sponsor or perhaps;
Group 1 also gets us thinking warm with the state and national Farm to Preschool challenges; when we bring gardening to our preschool children-start now and be ready for spring planting.
Select challenges from any of the five categories: Group1 - take ACTION Launch
Group 2 -USDA Resources and Best Practice, Group 3 - Health and Wellness, Group 4 Educate and Advocate, Group 5 CACFP Campaign. No matter your taste-there is a challenge here for you.
Favorite challenges right now to stay warm with: Let's Move! Child Care, Farm to Preschool, #TeamFNV, MoveItMonday, Advocate #CNR2016, USDA Two Bite Club, MyPlate E-Books and the infamous USDA Mixing Bowl/Recipes/Make a Cookbook!
Warm up with Group 3 Health and Wellness-select a physical activity and MOVE! Don't be left behind and in the cold because you didn't participate in the CACFP take ACTION Challenge.
No matter who you are or what you do with the Child and Adult Care Food Program rack up some points and Be CACFP Recognized. Go for the GOLD!
BTW, where in the world is the #CACFPtac wristband right now? Nope, not left out in the cold. Play the game for GOLD and become an ambassador!
One true way not to feel like you have been left out in the cold - you participated in the National CACFP Week Campaign Group 5 - there were so many ways to earn points for CACFP Week. Submit your NCA CACFP Week Campaign story and earn 1,000 points towards GOLD and hopefully you have already won NCA's $250.
