You heard the news about North Carolina becoming the 35th state on the CACFPtac Challenge Map when Nutrition Services Branch, North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services introduced the CACFP take ACTION Challenge in their monthly newsletter and have already had agencies submit! Congratulations went out to Coastal Community Action for being North Carolina's first Challenger to earn CACFP Recognition on Facebook, #CACFPtac Newsletter, Twitter and the #CACFPtac website.

"News for all child care sites!The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) has created a challenge for child care sites that is open to anyone who would like to participate. “The CACFP take ACTION Challenge is a CACFP Awareness Campaign designed to educate, rally and energize the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) the public and it’s participants.” The Challenge motivates everyone connected with CACFP to take action in a variety of healthy ways.” There are several challenges to try.
