CACFP take ACTION Challenge was initiated to support the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to expand awareness about the program, including its contribution to quality child care, healthy children, childhood obesity prevention and building a healthy culture. The challenge motivates everyone connected with CACFP to take Action in a variety of healthy challenges; physically, nutritionally, personally and professionally. In addition to promoting and energizing CACFP, its participants as well as other organizations; this project will utilize and promote existing initiatives, material and resources that are aligned with CACFP. Bringing the child care, health and wellness and the child nutrition community together.
